FINNY'S 1ST TOOTH

On July 18, 2011 my baby duckling lost her very first tooth. She was so excited!!! It's funny how all your Treasured memories come flowing back...Bailey, Hayden and Avery all reminisced about the day they lost their first tooth!! In fact we remember when Bailey lost hers she ended up swallowing it, and if that wasn't tragic enough the Tooth Fairy forgot to come, even though we told her over and over again that even if the tooth is in her tummy the Tooth Fairy will show up!!!! YES WINNERS!!!

When Finley lost her tooth it was bitter sweet, considering this will be my last loosing of ... "The 1st tooth," because she is our baby. She is only 4 so I thought I had a little more time before the big day. However it was exciting for all, but especially are little toothless wonder!!!

Congratulations Finny!!! We love you!!!

Date night with Hayden!!

One of my favorite things to do is take my FAVORITE son on a date...OKAY he is my only son, so I treasure the moments we spend together.

On Saturday me and Justin took him to see Harry Potter. I must say I truly don't care much for the Harry Potter movies, but I really wanted to spend some time with my 2 men and also see the look on Hayden's face when he saw it for the first time. I will always treasure this moment...PRICELESS!!!!

AEROBICS!!! 10 years and counting!!!

Thirteen years ago, I decided I was sick of walking, running, videos, doing the same old exercise routines. I decided that I was going to go and get certified to teach an aerobics class. So I did!! I went down to the closest YMCA and right away they gave me my own class, 3 times a week and got me certified!!! From then on I was hooked. I LOVED IT!!!

BUT...then a year later I was blessed enough to get pregnant with our 2ND little duckling, and so I decided it was too hard, so I would wait until he was older to teach again.

When Hayden was 10 months old, I got an idea...I decided to get a bunch of ladies from my church together and teach an aerobics class, 3 times a week like I use to at the gym. From then on I have been at the church MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, and FRIDAY at 8:30am teaching a fun aerobics class...OH WAIT DO WE STILL CALL IT THAT???? No!! Its more like a BOOT CAMP!!! We do ONE HOUR AN SIX MINUTES OF VERY HIGH INTENSITY AEROBICS!!! We probably do at least 50 lunges and 50-100 squats in a work-out, with weights in hand!! It is so fun and anyone is welcome to come and endure the pain!!!

Throughout the 10 years we have worked out together, we have all been through so much, and become very close. We see a lot of new faces come and go all the time. That is what is so great about this class!!

Teaching people to feel better about themselves, and love the way they look and feel, is one of my greatest TREASURES!!!

OH!!! (LOOK AT THE PICTURES...) we make them start young!!!

Love for Lana

Friends, many of you have seen the news reports that my dear friend Lana was brutally mauled by a black bear in Pinetop, AZ. She is a very close friend of mine.


I served as the Relief Society president for my church for 3 years, and that wonderful woman was literally my right hand man!! If something happened in the ward or neighborhood, I would run over to find out that SUPERWOMEN LANA had already been there with food or her cleaning supplies or both. I look up to Lana in every way.


The Sunday before it happened she came up to me and gave me a big hug... JUST BECAUSE!! If I would have known I would have hugged her a little longer, and told her again how much I love and appreciate her.


Lana, I love you and pray daily for your recovery. Thanks for being such a great example for all of us.

There will be bands playing in the parking lot, car washes, booths with items such as baked goods, knock off jeans, purses, boutique items. Inside the building we will have massage therapist doing massages, hair stylists doing hair cuts, eyelash extensions ect. Also Lakeside Cosmetic and Family Dentistry owned by Dr. Kris Heap has offered to do cleanings, exams, xrays, and whitening by a first come first serve basis.

These two days, each activity is set up so ALL proceeds will go to helping Lana with this terrible tragedy that has happened. For those of you that don't know dear sweet Lana she has spent a lifetime serving our community and helping those in need. We want to give back and she needs us right now. After the bear attack she spent her first night and morning in surgery for about 8 hrs and another round of surgeries today.

Please come, tell your friends and neighbors to come. We have also set up an account through Bank of America if you would like to donate details on that will come. If you are a business owner we have created containers with her picture in which people can donate money but we need businesses to place these jars.

This will be a HUGE event with media/news attendance and we will need all the help offered. Thank you for your support, love, donations and prayers for our sweet friend Lana!

Arrow of Light

My Cub Scout days are over. On Tuesday June 21, 2011 my favorite son, oh and did I mention he is my only son, had his last Pak meeting. He was presented his Arrow of light, which is the best award you can receive in Cub scouts. I am so proud of him. He worked very hard for this award.

One of my TREASURES in life is watching my little ducklings set goals and achieve them.

SUNBEAMS!!!!

I am a SUNBEAM TEACHER for my church and I absolutely lOVE IT! On Sunday our lesson was on "our feeling's." So I took a picture of each kiddo with a happy face...they loved it!

These 3 and 4 year olds are so pure and loving...oh and did I mention honest too! They teach me so much. Here is how our happy face's turned out!!!
